1. What type of decking material does CAMO work with?
Answer
The CAMO Hidden Deck Fastening System works with every type of decking material. Soft wood, such as Pressure Treated and Cedar, Kayu Batu and Ipe, Composite and PVC (Cellular) Decking which is 1 ½” or 1” nominal sized.

2. What size of deck board does the CAMO Tool fit?
Answer
The CAMO Tool can be used with 2×6 and 5/4×6 Boards (adjustable range: 5 ¼” to 5 ¾”). There is a Tool that may be ordered to fit a 2×4 (adjustable range: 3 ¼” to 5”).

3. Can I use a normal Deck Screw with the Tool?
Answer
A normal Deck Screw cannot be used with the CAMO Tool. The CAMO screw is a specially designed screwed that works like an auger and the Tool is specially designed to fit that screw.

Answer
CAMO Screws are ACQ Compatible.

5. What is the spacing between boards when using the CAMO System?
Answer
The CAMO Tools allow for a 3/16” spacing between boards. There are adapters available to allow for 1/16”, 1/8” and ¼” spacing which are special order items.

6. Will the CAMO System work on Tongue and Groove Boards?
Answer
No, the CAMPO System does not work on Tongue and Groove Boards.

7. Can I use CAMO on Grooved Boards?
Answer
Yes, there is a CAMO #15 Torx Bit you can purchase to allow you to use the system on Grooved Boards.

8. Do I need to pre-drill with the CAMO System?
Answer
Any screws placed within an 1” of any edge should be predrilled to minimize splitting.

9. Can I remove the screws and replace a Board if needed?
Answer
Boards may be replaced as needed. The screws may be backed out as removed as required.

10. Is there a Warranty on the CAMO Screw?
Answer
CAMO offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty that guarantees against rust and corrosion for the life of the project.
